Garfield is an orange, fuzzy tabby cat born in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant who immediately ate all the pasta and lasagna in sight, thus developing an obsession with lasagna and pizza. He disdains any form of exertion or work. In addition to being lazy and fat, Garfield is also pessimistic, narcissistic, cynical, sarcastic, sardonic, and smug. He enjoys destroying things, mauling the mailman, and tormenting the dog. In short, he’s a spoiled cat who rules the roost.
In this card, Garfield is lounging on a red sofa, occasionally scratching out the stuffing, daring anyone to stop him. A tall lamp with a yellow shade stands behind the sofa, waiting to be knocked down.
This is a card for a real cat lover, someone who lives with a maddening cat and loves it anyway. Give this card to the “cat lady” or “cat guy” in your life … they will laugh and cherish it.
Love me, feed me, never leave me.
Diet is ‘die’ with a “t”.
Oh no! I overslept! I’m late! For my nap.
Eat every meal as though it were your last.
I am hungry. Therefore I am.
If you want to look thinner, hang around people fatter than you.
I wouldn’t say Garfield is fat, but the last time he got on a Ferris wheel, the two guys on top starved to death.
Breathing is exercise.
I’ll rise, but I won’t shine.
If you are patient…and wait long enough…Nothing will happen!
Good times are ahead! Or behind. Because they sure aren’t here.
You know it’s Monday when you wake up, and it’s Tuesday.
The most active thing about me is my imagination.
If people were meant to pop out bed we’d all sleep in toasters.
With due respect to Will Rogers, I never met a lasagna I didn’t like.
Never trust a smiling cat.
I hate Mondays.
